• If you are ever feeling mad or depressed just go outside. Or if you are raging at the computer, get out of your room and go outside. For me, I needed to clear my head so I just went outside and I fell a whole lot better. It relieved a lot of stress/anxiety. -by RyanMTB

  • Go to the gym 2 to 3 times a week. Don’t overdo it though. Your muscles won’t have time to repair and grow!

  • As I always suggest: Learn to program! It’s very fun and rewarding, if you’re interested, you can check out either /r/learnprogramming, or if you want to learn game development, you could check out /r/gamedev. -by ImBoredAndSoCanYou

  • Go out and enjoy the sun I like the idea someone mentioned, just go to the movies for a day by yourself. That seems really fun actually. -by Soyance

  • Dude. Ultimate Frisbee. My friends and I get together two days a week after dinner to play a few games of 4 on 4, and it’s absolutely the highlight of my summer. -by tmcdizzle827

  • I find out and learn about things I didn’t know about before. Requirements: City library. Wikipedia. Bandcamp and Jamendo. The Pirate Bay for foreign language films. for music unheard. Pen and paper for writing random stories and seldom poetry. IRC and Reddit for making new online friends. Camera for photography experimentation. Internet for DIY tutorials. -by Keve

  • Learn a new instrument: When I got to the point at which I desperately needed a hobby, I picked up my mom’s old shitty guitar and strummed for the first time. Two years later, I’ve played for two bands (that didn’t exactly do well) and improved a LOT. Now, the guitar takes up a lot of my free time.

  • Build a closer relationship with your new friends. Don’t be scared to ask if they can hang out with you some time.

  • Join a club or sport. Well, maybe sports aren’t for everyone (especially me). But hey, your school has got to have some interesting clubs right? If they don’t have one you like, then start one. I started my own guitar club at my school with my friends.

  • Try your hand at drawing. Hey, maybe you might have a knack at it.

  • Learn a new language. This may not seem as exciting but it will take up your time plus it’s a good benefit to have in the future. – by Zero_FX
